Revascularização pulpar de dentes necrosados com rizogênese incompleta
Uma revisão de literatura
Resumo
Os dentes necrosados com rizogênese incompleta são um grande desafio na área da odontologia, devido às características inerentes ao paciente e ao elemento dental. Entre essas características estão o paciente de pouca idade, paredes dentinária frágeis, ápice em desenvolvimento, dificultando e muitas vezes impedindo a obturação do sistema de canais radiculares. Com o objetivo de sanar as desvantagens do tratamento convencional de apicificação, existe o tratamento de revascularização desses dentes, que é realizado através da desinfecção dos canais, com posterior aplicação de medicamento intracanal, que como observado na literatura pode ser o próprio Ca(OH)² ou a pasta tri ou diantibiótica. O tratamento de revascularização tem se mostrado uma alternativa bastante promissora, por apresentar vantagens como maior conforto ao paciente, aumento da espessura das paredes do canal, fechamento da abertura apical, de-senvolvimento radicular e, em alguns casos, até o retorno da resposta positiva à sensibilidade pulpar. Embora o tratamento tenha se mostrado bastante eficaz na literatura, são necessárias mais pesquisas na área. As pesquisas são, muitas vezes, voltadas para o tipo de medicamento ideal a se utilizar nesse tratamento e o tipo de tecido formado no interior do canal, além de comparações entre o tratamento convencional e a revascularização.
