Abstract

The current work is an analysis of patterns of leaf herbivory in species herbacea Ctenanthe lanceolata Petersen (Maranthaceae) situated in a trail of Atlantic Forest in the Biological Reserve of Duas Bocas (20 ° 16’S, 40 º 28’W), Cariacica, ES, Brazil. As demonstrated five types of herbivory patterns were observed: marginal cut, drilling, sequential, and scraping Following the Central Vein. No correlation was found between the classes described.
