Bromeliaceae do Sítio Morro do Céu, Serra (ES)
Abstract
The present work is a taxonomic study on the family Bromeliaceae carried out in a fragment of the Atlantic Forest called Morro do Céu, located in municipality of Serra, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil. The investigation was based on weekly sampling taken from October 2001 to September 2002. Twenty three species distributed in eleven genera and three subfamilies were identified. Genera descriptions, an identification key, photographs and comments about the geographic distribution and habitat are presented.
