The genus Anthurium Schott (Araceae) in the Parque Estadual Paulo César Vinha, Guarapari, Espírito Santo
Abstract
Anthurium is the most representative genus within the family Araceae that is known for its great morphological plasticity that leads to difficulties in species identification. In the state of Espirito Santo, where the taxonomic group are scarce, being represented by recent descriptions for new taxa. As a contribution to the knowledge of the flora of the Parque Estadual Paulo César Vinha and genus in the Anthurium are presented descriptions, notes on ecology, phenology and geographical distribution of species. The genus was represented by seven species: Anthurium cleistanthum GM Barroso, A. aff. intermedium Kunth, A. cf. jilekii Schott, A. parasiticum (Vell.) Stellfeld, A. pentaphyllum var. pentaphyllum (Aubl.) G. Don, A. santaritensis Nadruz & Croat and A. solitarium Schott. Among these, A. santaritensis is here that a new report for the state.
