Predation on Hypsiboas faber (Anura: Hylidae) by Leptodactylus vastus in a temporary pond in the Atlantic Forest at Capela, Sergipe
Abstract
Anurans are generalists in the diet and the predation on vertebrates were reported to large-sized species of Leptodactylus. Herein, we describe the predation of the treefrog Hypsiboas faber by an adult Leptodactylus vastus in a lake in the open pasture area in Capela, state of Sergipe, Brazil, in the Atlantic Forest domain.
