Alegrar Project: Contributions and possibilities in the process of Humanization of Hospital Care
Abstract
Humanization has been gaining more and more space in the hospital care system, and several times, fueled by
work with a humanitarian focus. The aim of this study was to analyze a transformation of the theme of Hospital Care and
Humanization for the training of students in the Biomedicine course at the São Francisco de Assis Higher Education School
(ESFA) through the Alegrar Project through the application of questionnaires with 70 enrolled students in 2016. This is an
analysis of the Alegrar Project and its importance for the construction of the professional character of the biomedical student,
as well as the importance of being empathetic when dealing with close patients and seeking treatment in a humane way, even
with students. with the hospital life and the need for work that can contribute to the treatment of patients and companions using
playful activities to provide a differentiated view of hospital beds, thus allowing a feeling of comfort and security, modifying
the professional-patient relationship.
